Siemens Bus Connector for Use with PROFIBUS

This bus connector is a DIN-rail mounted accessory designed to Interface PROFIBUS networks via an RS485 link. It provides a compact, pluggable connection solution for industrial communication installations where a fixed PROFIBUS cable length and secure Terminal connections are required. The enclosure is plastic and the unit mounts on a 35mm top-hat rail for straightforward panel installation.

It clips onto a standard 35mm top-hat DIN rail to allow tool-free mounting and straightforward removal.

The enclosure is moulded from plastic which offers electrical insulation and reduces conductive contamination risks in control environments.

A 3M plug-in cable is supplied to permit immediate connection to existing PROFIBUS runs without additional leads.
