Use this StarTech.com serial cable assembly to transfer information between computers using serial data transferral. It consists of two ribbon cables with 10-pin insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) linking to two panel-mounted 9-pin D-sub connectors. The panel fixes to your motherboard to keep the assembly extra protected against snags or rough handling in demanding environments.
