It also has a high level of chemical and radiation resistance, as well as a UL (Underwriters' Laboratories) 94 V-0 fire safety certification. This means it will only burn for 30 seconds, making it a safe and durable choice for use in harsh environments.

As the rod produces minimal friction and adhesion, it allows for smooth motion while also minimising heat and noise. You'll commonly find it used for gaskets, gears and bearings in industrial manufacturing and food processing applications.
