RS PRO Lubricant Silicone, 400 ml, Food Safe
Use this silicone lubricant from RS PRO to reduce friction on all kinds of packaging equipment, from labellers to filling machines. Because it's food-safe, it's well-suited to use in food processing applications. It can also be used as a general-purpose lubricant.
The lubricant is supplied as a silicone spray in an aerosol can. It creates a generally dry film and helps to inhibit the build-up of adhesive residues on surfaces. You can use it to eliminate sticking and reduce annoying squeaks. It's safe to use on metals and most plastics and can be used at extremes of temperature, from -30˚C up to +200˚C.
While lubricants of this kind are commonly used in the food and beverage industry, they're also found in electrical and automotive applications, where they also provide some protection against rust.
