The ams OSRAM Standalone intelligent driver with 2 RGB channels is a mixed signal silicon device optimized for dynamic lighting applications. The Basic purpose is to drive 6 LEDs organized in 2 channel triplets (RGB) with an independent PWM dimming dynamic range up to 16 bits. Its often addressed with a different name SAID2, an acronym, which stands for Stand-Alone Intelligent Driver with 2 RGB channels. Daisy chain configurations of multiple devices will enable cost effective implementation of complex dynamic lighting effects. It will support single layer slim PCB designs.
