This safety hinge switch is a Compact interlock device designed to monitor hinged guards and access doors in industrial machinery. Housed in a glass-fibre-reinforced thermoplastic enclosure with an aluminium hinge, it employs mechanical slow-action contacts with a positive-opening mechanism to meet safety switching needs. It is rated for use across a wide ambient range and provides three contact elements in a 1NO/2NC arrangement for guard monitoring applications.
