Ideal Industries 61-547, LED Voltage tester, Battery Powered, CAT III 600V

The IDEAL® AC/DC Voltage Indicator (model 61-547) is a versatile and user-friendly tester designed to make voltage detection straightforward and efficient. It automatically indicates voltage levels through a series of neon lights that illuminate progressively as voltage increases. This tester can auto-select between AC and DC voltage, ranging from 24 to 600 AC and 12 to 600 DC, and even indicates DC polarity. For added safety, it features a high voltage PPE warning light that activates when voltage exceeds 36V. The meter’s design includes a dual-position probe holder for convenient storage and use, allowing for one-handed operation during testing. Additionally, the tester can be suspended from a nail, screw, or magnetic surface using the compatible hanging strap mount (Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap model UMHS-757 sold separately). With its high voltage warning, automatic AC/DC voltage indication, and DC polarity detection, this meter is a reliable tool for many electrical tasks, and best of all, it requires no batteries!
