Non-Contact Voltage Tester Single Range 50-600V AC


The IDEAL® 61-627 is a CAT IV 1000V AC, UL Listed, Single Range Non-Contact Voltage Tester designed for reliable and safe voltage detection. It automatically identifies and indicates the presence of voltage within the range of 50 - 1000V AC. This tester features a non-contact detection mechanism through an antenna enclosed in plastic at the tip, which senses the electromagnetic field around live conductors. When powered on, the tip is illuminated by a green LED. Upon detecting voltage, it switches to a red flashing LED and emits an audible beep that increases in frequency with the voltage level. Powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries, the tester includes a lanyard tie-off point, auto power-off function, and low battery indication for added convenience and safety.

UL Certified CAT IV 1000V AC, 50 to 600 V AC

Auto power off after 10 minutes of inactivity - the tester will emit one long beep (0.5s) and then shut off
