Eaton 400A Tag Fuse 3XL 1.5kV, 170 mm

This tag fuse is a fast-acting battery storage protection device designed to isolate and interrupt fault currents in high-voltage battery arrays and combiners. It operates at system voltages used in large-scale battery installations and solar PV arrays and is MADE for mounting in compatible XL fuse bases or bolted/bladed holders to enable safe disconnection during reverse-current or multi-array faults.

It is compatible with both bolted and bladed fixing arrangements and mates with specified XL fuse bases configured for knife-blade or bolted-blade links.

It is designed with high rupturing capability and a measured breaking capacity able to deal with substantial prospective currents up to the published kA range for the family.

Time-response is geared to fast clearance of low overcurrents typical of faulted battery systems, with pre-arcing and total I2t parameters specified per rating to quantify let-through energy.

Microswitches are available for both knife-blade and bolted variants, enabling remote indication of fuse state without duplicating core performance data.
