Eaton British Standard Fuse, A1 Size, 6A - Eaton Series - NIT6


Stop electrical damage and prevent shock and fire hazards with this British Standard fuse from Eaton. If the current in your circuit exceeds 6A (amperes), the component heats up enough for the A1-style offset tags to melt away. When the tags are gone the fuse is physically detached from the circuit, halting the flow of electricity to keep you and your equipment safe from harm. A fuse like this is commonly used in household appliances and commercial lighting applications.

This fuse has a voltage rating of 550V (volts) for AC (alternating current). That means 550V is the highest AC voltage the component can withstand continuously before it melts and breaks the circuit. For DC (direct current), it has a voltage rating of 250V.
