Ixxat CAN-IB100/PCIe, CAN to PCIe interface card with one CAN channel and galvanic isolation (D-Sub 9 connector)
With its CAN high-speed interface, the Ixxat CAN-IB100/PCIe enables an easy and cost-efficient CAN bus connection for computers with a PCIe interface. This passive card, which has no microprocessor on board, is suitable for applications requiring a straightforward connection.
It connects to the PC through a single-lane (1x) PCI Express interface, while the CAN bus side connects via a D-Sub 9 connector with galvanic isolation. The galvanic isolation provides reliable protection of the PC against overvoltage and voltage peaks. The card is equipped with a standard slot bracket for easy installation in desktop or industrial PCs.
Thanks to its modular design, the connectivity options of the CAN-IB100/PCIe can be expanded with additional interfaces – either by installing multiple cards in one PC or by using fieldbus expansion boards and piggyback modules. This makes it an adaptable solution for various requirements.
