The HellermannTyton SpotClip-II series of light covers has been developed to prevent any contact between insulation materials and recessed down lights. These light covers can even be installed afterwards, opening up a variety of applications in both new and old buildings. The SpotClip-II can be used in ceiling cavities with diameters from 62mm to 90mm, with a maximum height of 107mm. The light cover ensures that a safe distance is kept between the downlight, insulation foil and roof insulation, reducing the risk of overheating and heat build-up.
The SpotClip-II is suitable to use with both panelling and plasterboard and it works with Halogen and LED spot lamps.
