The ON Semiconductor NCP1118x integrates a peak current mode PWM controller employing mWSaver technology and a highly robust 800 V SJ MOSFET providing especially enhanced performance in flyback converter. The mWSaver technology reduces switching frequency and operating current of the controller at light−load condition, which help avoid acoustic−noise problem and even meet international power conservation standard, such as energy star.
