A reliable choice for PCB circuitry, the connector is a USB-A type that's suitable for a variety of computers and electronic devices. The female connector can also be used as a USB charging point straight from the PCB.

The rugged construction is backed by an IP67 rating for protection from dust, dirt and sand. It can also withstand submersion in one-meter deep water for up to half an hour. The gold-plated copper contacts offer excellent rust and corrosion resistance, making this USB connector an ideal choice for marine applications.

The connector conforms to a host of international standards that ensure protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
