RS PRO Flame Retardant Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulating Sheet, 2.4m x 610mm x 25mm

The easy-to-install thermal insulation sheet from RS PRO won't give off fumes or smells during its first firing as it doesn't contain any binders or lubricants. This means it is ideal for use in heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) ducts and chimneys.

The flexible blanket can be easily cut and shaped to fit your individual needs and can be wrapped around equipment. It's flame-retardant, immune to thermal shock and resistant to chemicals, which makes it suitable for use in heat shields, mould-wrap insulation or passive fire protection. The insulation also gives off no large dust particles and is soft to the touch.

You'll find this rugged and versatile product in storage heaters and domestic ovens. It can operate at temperatures up to +1300ºC and has a high density of 160 kg/m³.
