This humidity sensor from Honeywell uses a clever SIP (system-in-package) design to keep it compact. Its small size of 4.17 (length) by 2.03mm (width) means it fits in where space is tight. The sensor is a highly efficient and accurate component. It's laser-trimmed and uses a capacitive sensing element and integrated signal conditioning for a quick and reliable response. The linear voltage output draws a current of just 200μA (microamps), making it a low-power component that's well-suited to battery-operated devices. This humidity sensor has a moulded and layered thermoset plastic case to make it chemical, oil and dust resistant for a long service life.
