It takes 4.75 to 36V DC inputs and converts them to the stable 3.3V DC output needed by applications such as IoT devices and industrial automation systems. Electrical glitches are no problem, as the device comes with short-circuit protection and automatically reboots after a fault to cut downtime. The regulator operates at 91% efficiency so heat waste is minimised and there's no need to fit a heat sink.
