An impulse withstand voltage rating of 1.35kV AC shows it handles significant electrical anomalies without breaking a sweat. The protector fits into a DIN rail-mounting VAL-MS series base element (445-5252), which is a wiring bridge that links several bits of kit together so you can connect them all to the ground for safety.
