Looking for a safe voltage-splitting transformer for your workshop? This RS PRO portable splitter box is used with industrial and power tools to step down voltage and reduce the risk of shock. The unit splits a single input of 110 V into four 16 A, 110 V outputs so you can run several bits of equipment simultaneously.
The component also reduces the chance of electrical surges damaging your devices as it isolates the input power from the output power and won't transfer a fault to the next stage. It's made from robust GRP (glass reinforced polyester) and can withstand outdoor conditions with very little wear and tear.
This transformer is supplied with 5 m of arctic-grade input cable with a wide operating temperature of -40°C to +70°C, so it's suitable for all weathers. You can step the voltage up or down by varying the number of turns in the transformer's coil.
