SICK i110 Safety Switch, Power, Fibreglass Reinforced Thermoplastic

This safety switch is a power-locking interlock designed for safeguarding access points in industrial environments. It uses an electro-mechanical sensor and requires an external actuator, offering monitored locking and door contacts for process protection. The device connects via an M12 8-pin plug and is suited to non-hazardous areas where controlled access and diagnostics via a series connection are required.

It provides electro-mechanical contacts with positive-action N/C locking and door monitoring contacts and a switching voltage threshold of ≥12VDC.

Connection is via an M12 8-pin plug connector with brass coupling nut and short-circuit protection rating of 1AgG.

Mechanical life is rated at 1x10^6 switching cycles and B10d is 5x10^6 switching cycles under small load.

There is no internal safe-state fault detection

The actuator is not supplied and approach speed must not exceed 20m/min with an actuation frequency up to 1,200/h.
