Omron, A4EG Series Holding Key

This safety enabling switch component is an optional holding key accessory designed to work with enabling grip switches in industrial safety circuits. It enables mode selection and secure holding of the enabling function when used alongside safety-door switches and related control modules. The device is intended for indoor machine applications where controlled manual operation and maintenance-mode interlock are required.

Fit the two supplied mounting screws with the provided spring washers and tighten to the specified torque of 0.5–0.7 N·m

The accessory must not be used to override safety

Avoid applying excessive force to the tip, do not drop the key, and stop use if deformity or breakage occurs

Use multi-core cable AWG20–18 (0.5–0.75 mm2) and a cable diameter of 8.0–13 mm with the correct conduit connector assembly to maintain seal performance.
