RS PRO 127 mm Electronic Cutters


Need to cut wires close to a surface? With their shaped blades, these electronic cutters from RS PRO are ideal for the job. This type of cutter also known as end-nipper pliers, is useful for removing excess wire when finishing off a job.

The bladed tips are suitable for cutting copper wire up to a diameter of 1.6 mm. They're made from durable, high-carbon steel (HCS), which resists abrasion and maintains its shape well – so your tool will last for longer. A thermoplastic grip reduces the risk of slippage, making them easier and safer to work with. The jaws will open to an angle of 40˚.

The cutters meet ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, meaning they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Cutters of this type are commonly used to cut copper wire to length when assembling electronics. They are not suitable for cutting steel wire.
