RS PRO 5.5 kW DOL Starter, 400 V AC, 3 Phase, IP65
The 5.5 kW automatic 3-phase starter is a direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter used to reduce the current required when starting up induction motors. Such starters are particularly handy for use with induction motors rated below 5 hp.
It can be essential to fit motor starters with an overload protection device to prevent short circuits or overheating. This model doesn't include one, so you would need to select one from the RF38 series – for example, stock no. 685-130 – to match the full-load current of your motor.

That means it's an effective shield against dust and high-pressure water jets from any direction.
