EM-176 DC-Motor Controller
EM-176 is designed for DC-motor speed control. The unit can be used with unregulated DC supply. Motor loading can be compensated with inbuilt RxI-type adjustment.
Speed control value can be set with voltage signal or with potentiometer, there is an auxiliary voltage signal output for potentiometer use.

Electromen - EM-176 DC MOTOR CONTROLLER 12/24VDC, 10A
The EM-176 motor driver is a 4-quadrant DC-motor speed controller and is suitable for 12 or 24V supply. The unit utilizes a PWM driven H-bridge and achieves high efficiency and extensive controlling options.Control can be provide by a potentiometer or direct voltage signal and the drive offers adjustable load compensation, if required.An auxiliary card can be fitted to EM-176 to provide a means to apply a symmetrical (+/-) control input with either a voltage signal or potentiometer. The ramp feature is used to control the motor start up and braking rates, this is set with an on-board trim pot
The scale trimmer can be used to scale set value to correspond better the motor rpm.
The current limit can be set with either the trim pot or with a direct voltage signal, this can be adjusted to protect the motor and transmission in a jam situations
The unit has separate inputs for brake, freewheel and reverse.
The brake function shorts the motor poles to provide dynamic braking, the reverse command changes motor direction with ramp times to allow for smooth direct change
The freewheel command sets the motor free from all control, the freewheel command overrides all other commands
