DM2 series miniSD memory card connector with a reverse mount configuration and a miniaturized PCB space saving design. The DM2 miniSD memory card connector has a push in, push out ejection mechanism and a retention force of 4N for a secure card connection. Built in card retention springs prevent the card from being partially pulled out. The ejection mechanism is designed not to lock when the miniSD card is inserted in reverse and the connector contacts are not damaged. The contacts of the miniSD card connector have a two-point design for high contact reliability. The DM2 series miniSD memory card connector also features VSS contacts which connect directly to the metal cover providing a ground connection. The metal cover connects with the PCB at four points which also provides effective grounding and connector shielding.
