Eaton FAZ Series Circuit Breakers

The FAZ series by Eaton offers a wide range of quality, highly reliable and safe circuit breakers. Eaton’s FAZ DIN rail mountable circuit breaker is designed for use in control panel applications.

Features and Benefits

• The Eaton miniature circuit breaker has a current limiting design, providing short circuit interruption to reduce let-through energy, which can damage the circuit.
• Rated currents up to 63A.
• The toggle can be sealed in both the on and off position where required, and the trip-free design means that the breaker cannot be defeated by holding the handle in the on position.
• Reliable and safe operation with six levels of thermal-magnetic over-current protection.
• Red or green light indicates the contact position.
• Easy installation.
• Suitable for supplementary protection.

Eaton 2-Pole MCB, 10A Current Rating, B Curve - FAZ Series - 278730 FAZ-B10/2

Features & Benefits

• Includes captive screws that stay attached, so there's less risk of them being lost
• Easy to snap onto a DIN rail for quick and convenient installation
• Information printed on the front of the device for simple identification
• Conforms to IEC 60947-2 safety standards for circuit breakers used in electrical power distribution systems

How does this MCB stop the flow of current when there's a fault?

This MCB contains a bimetallic strip that heats up and bends when continuous overcurrent flows through it. When this strip bends, a mechanical latch opens the unit's contact and turns the breaker off to stop current flowing through the attached circuit.
