This slewing ring is a rotating bearing designed to provide smooth axial rotation and load transfer in compact assemblies. It is manufactured from aluminium and incorporates a matching aluminium seal, making it suitable for installations where weight and corrosion resistance are considerations. The housing and sealing element are both aluminium which offers good thermal conductivity and relatively uniform expansion under temperature changes compared with mixed-metal designs.

It can replace rings of similar external size where an aluminium construction and seal are acceptable, provided mounting interfaces and load ratings are compatible.
