This light curtain is a safety sensing device designed to detect intrusion into hazardous zones and stop machinery operations where human presence is undesirable. When one or more of the 50 optical paths are broken, the receiver reports an interruption condition and outputs a safety signal within the specified 13 ms response window to initiate machine stoppage.

The unit must be powered within its maximum supply voltage rating of 28.8V to maintain specified detection and response characteristics.
