The ENDRESS+HAUSER Ultrasonic level sensor is a cost-effective device for sophisticated level measurement in liquids and bulk solids. With its ultrasonic measuring technology, it provides accurate measurements and is suitable for a wide range of applications. The two-wire or four-wire compact transmitter can be used in various settings such as storage tanks, agitators, stockpiles, and conveyor belts. It offers quick and simple commissioning via menu-guided on-site operation and includes a four-line plain text display with 7 selectable languages. The Prosonic FMU42 is designed with a hermetically sealed and potted sensor made of chemically resistant PVDF material, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh environments. It also features a linearization function for easy conversion of measured values into any unit of length, volume, or flow rate.
Accurate +/- 4 mm or +/- 0.2% of set measuring range
Wide process temperature range of -40 °C to 80 °C (-40 °F to 176 °F)
Suitable for liquids and solids with measurement distances up to 10m (33 ft) and 5m (16 ft) respectively
Compact design with a two-wire or four-wire transmitter
Integrated temperature sensor for automatic correction of sound velocity
