RS PRO Security Post Base


This security base post from our RS PRO range is a type of base designed for safety barriers to be fixed into the ground and easily removed making the bollards temporary rather than permanent fixtures. The base is produced from polyurethane making it extremely hard-wearing. Ideal for areas where the bollard is not needed as a constant fixture but may be knocked repeatedly at low speeds. RS PRO has designed these security post bases that can be permanently installed so that the post can be made to be removable, once removed the base can have the box closed meaning there is no hole in the ground. They are particularly good for car parking spaces or loading bays that need access at certain times of days but only by authorised personnel and vehicles.

A barriers main function is to prevent accidents and to keep workers, pedestrians and visitors safe, bases such as these means that a barrier can be installed and removed quickly and efficiently when needed.
