Catu DT-300 Earth Tester, 2kΩ CAT III

The Catu earth and ground resistance tester measure a 1.999kΩ absolute maximum resistance and is having a CAT III safety category. This tester is used to ensure proper operation of the earthing system. It emits a sound signal for continuity checks and directly displays the value on the LED screen. It is also used to measure the electrical characteristics of a system. The measurement of the earth resistance, performed by this device, is based on the measurement principle called "fault loop". The measurement is carried out with an accuracy of (+/-3% +1 digit) on pure resistance, range of 0-200 Ω at 23 °C +/-5°C.
