This male-to-male DisplayPort to HDMI cable comes from our trusted RS PRO brand. It enables a quick and easy connection from a device like a computer or laptop to an HD monitor, TV or projector and provides a high-definition audiovisual experience (max resolution 1080p).

This product links to any HDMI-supported device so will be suitable for a range of audiovisual equipment including PCs, Blu-ray players and games consoles.

The cable is five metres long and has an internal wire gauge of 30 AWG. It comes with a 20-pin male-to-male connector that has a gold-plated shell for improved conductivity and corrosion protection. The connector has a durable, black PVC hood and dust caps to protect the pins when it's not in use. It also has a latch release feature that helps keep the cable in place and prevent wear and tear that can be caused by an insecure coupling.

DisplayPort offers the support of higher performance requirements than HDMI, which is based on updated signal and protocol technology used in today's computers. This enables an increase in performance and integration.
