RS PRO 160 VA Isolation Transformer, 15 to 400 V AC Primary, 2 x 115 V AC Secondary

Need to transfer AC power to electrical equipment safely? Turn to this RS PRO isolation transformer. It's ideal for use with any type of electrical equipment that needs protection against harmful power surges while functioning at a high level.

The transformer's +15 V adjustment on the primary winding allows you to step voltages up or down as needed. Electrical noise is kept to a minimum thanks to lamination, and fully varnish-impregnated coils protect the unit from humidity and rust. A pre-drilled bracket makes it easy to install the unit on a DIN rail or panel using screws.

Full electrical and flash testing ensures the transformer can withstand high voltages. You'll often find it used to run 120 V North American electrical equipment on a 230 V UK power supply.
