Introducing the RS PRO Current and Voltage Calibrator that offers outstanding performance, durability and reliability. This rugged calibration tool from RS PRO is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry and offers a push-button interface that is ergonomic and easy to use. It is EMI tolerant, dust and splash resistant, and features a removable battery door for quick battery changes. This unit is a precision source for calibrating process devices and offers a high level of accuracy and versatility across a wide range of applications for an affordable price.

Features and Benefits:

• The RS PRO current and voltage calibration unit works as a multifunction calibrator and an arbitrary function generator

• This unit offers a unique mapping function that lets you calibrate temperature (300 °C) or voltage (220 V) directly (instead of 4 to 20 mA indirectly)

• It can simulate a current transmitter and make measurement and output loop power 24 V (LOOP+) simultaneously

• The clear and easy to use interface offers a numerical keypad with a sliding switch and a dot matrix LCM that’s backlit so it can be used in low-light applications if needed

• This calibration unit can perform data logging with programmable sampling time (0-255 seconds) and memory of 4000 records

• The calibration results (source and measure) can be saved in memory (2000 records) and the user can download them to a PC for documentation, meaning there is no need to transcribe calibration data manually

• The calibration unit offers DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) which can perform professional testing for telephone lines and audio products (MP3 or MD)

• The programmable cold junction compensation feature allows users to fine-tune temperature output and measurement

• Voltage, frequency, PWM duty-cycle (square wave and triangular wave), and offset are programmable in the Hz function

• The auto-step and auto-ramp functions can quickly perform a linear test

• The device offers user-selectable HARTTM resistor to facilitate use with HARTTM communication devices

• The short circuit protection for voltage output ensures the calibration unit is protected
