The band backshells provide a full 360° shield termination.;Dual purpose spin coupling backshells may be used in conjunction with heatshrink boots or spring clips (for example, stock no. 241-1519) to terminate braided cable jacketing. The threaded coupling end rotates separately from the body so that cable is not twisted upon removal of backshell from the connector body. The mating interface of these backshells features anti-rotation teeth and a sealing 'O' ring.
