3M Cubitron™ II Ceramic Sanding Disc, 150mm, P180 Grit, 775L, 50 in pack

To speed up sanding tasks without compromising on the quality of the finish, use this disc from 3M. It's made with triangular-shaped ceramic grains to maximise abrasiveness. This gives you a clean and consistent cut even as the disc wears down, reducing the effort needed. A grade of P180 means the grit is fine enough for using in-between coats of paint or for finishing jobs. Made with an open coat, it's suitable for use on soft metals, composite materials and white woods.

Using the 3M™ 775L outperforms conventional ceramic discs. Designed to be used with a 3M™ Hookit™ backing pad with an angle grinder or sander. This film wheel is well-suited to stock removal and is effective on a wide variety of materials, including metals, composites, gel coats and white woods.

This abrasive disc works with orbital sanders that have a disc pad size of 150mm. It also works with sanding and grinding tools fitted with a 3M Xtract backup pad.

Using 3M™ precision-shaped grain technology to offer a higher initial and durability to outlast conventional ceramic fibre discs. The grit wears evenly and with the abrasive staying cooler and sharper, the PSG abrasive lasts significantly longer than conventional ceramic discs. These discs will help to step up production with an improved output on both light and heavy stock removal.

The Hookit™ system from 3M™ provides a secure attachment with a hook and loop system. It allows for these Hookit™ discs to be quickly swapped out in seconds. The Hookit™ disc pad (150 mm backing pad - 456-2439) is sold seperately.
