RS PRO 1.75 mm Green PLA 3D Printer Filament, 2.3 kg


Use this filament from RS PRO to print three-dimensional objects using your fused deposition modelling (FDM) desktop 3D printer. It's made of polylactic acid (PLA), a material commonly used for making 3D-printed products and prototypes.

PLA has a low melting point, so you don't need a heated bed to keep the plastic hot and pliable. It also has low shrinkage properties, so there's little risk of your creations deforming once cooled. This thermoplastic is tough, without being brittle, to ensure your models won't crack or break. PLA is even completely eco-friendly as it's derived from plant-based materials.

It's safe to use with power tools and machinery as it meets BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards for electrostatic discharge and won't interfere with the electrical circuits of these components. This printing filament has multiple applications, ranging from retail product manufacturing to making custom parts for DIY projects.
