The RS PRO 2.85mm diameter 3D printer filament has printing material of polylactic acid (PLA) which is a plastic made from renewable natural resources and one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. Plastics such as PLA are the most popular 3D printing material due to their simplicity, dimensional accuracy, and lower cost. This matte PLA is an easy-to-print variant of the regular PLA, with an aesthetical matte effect. Its surface diffuses light to give it a matte look and a rough texture. The black matte finish gives the product a more natural look. This material can be printed on most common printers and has a reliable bed adhesion to most common build plate materials.
