A Water Pump is a mechanical device that can circulate water or raise it from one level to another. Water Pumps draw existing water into the Pump by suction through an inlet point. The inlet point has a lower rate of pressure than the outlet points. A water pump increases the rate of water to create a vacuum. At this time, the outlet point has a high-pressure level which forces out the water. The impeller plays first fiddle in the entire process as the action of the part increases the fluid's velocity and pressure towards the Pump outlet.

On average, the lifetime of the Centrifugal Pump is approximately 15 years having in mind that internal parts are under regular maintenance. Energy consumption represents about 90% of the total life cycle cost.
