Use this robust variac transformer from RS PRO to adjust the AC voltage on your electronic devices. Featuring a long life span and requiring almost zero maintenance, it's easy to mount in a variety of ways – surface, floor or wall – using the screw terminals provided.

This transformer has a silver-plated commutator that gives a smooth linear output without any waveform distortion. It has integrated overload protection as well as a low operating torque and a low magnetising current, so you're assured a safe and efficient product. Effective regulation is provided thanks to the continuously variable alternating current output voltage with overvoltage tap.

Varivolt is the name of RS PRO's professional range of transformers for both home and industry. They're available in both single- and three-phase versions and in a multitude of current settings. This product complies with the RoHS directive on the restricted use of hazardous substances.
