RS PRO Pressure Switch, 1/4 BSP Male, 0.2 bar to 2.5 bar
This RS PRO pressure switch connects to a standard male 1/4 inch British Standard Pipe (BSP) socket and has a microswitch that closes when a specific pressure is reached. You can easily set the appropriate triggering pressure by adjusting a screw on the rear of the assembly.
The switch's in-built mechanical stop ensures the system is protected if any over-pressurisation occurs, though it's recommended to keep your system under 2.5 bar. Its sensor housing has an IP65 rating, which means it's suitable for all-weather outdoor use but not for immersion in water.
For added versatility, the microswitch can be used as either a normally open or normally closed switch. Thanks to its 10% hysteresis, it reduces switch bounce on the output signal to prevent multiple triggers.
