The specification of these micro USB connectors supports OTG (On-The-Go) and enable portable devices to communicate directly with each other without the need for a host computer. These micro USB receptacle connectors have a lead-in feature on the housing that enables blind mating to the cable plug. A fully shielded laser-welded stainless steel shell offers mechanical strength and EMI protection. The connector shell features latching windows with tabs for a secure connection to the mating plug assembly. The edge contact beam geometry of the connector shell facilitates high-speed data transmission. These micro USB Type A and Type AB connectors are available as top, bottom and mid-mount.
