The Conti® Synchrochain is a high performing timing belt designed for applications in drives with very high acceleration forces, as well as for the transmission of high torque at low speeds. The combination of extraordinary tensile strength with a high tear resistance making extreme applications possible. It's original design has a newly developed CTD profile with ultra strong aramid tensile members embedded in the compound ensuring reliable power transmission for high torques.

Conti® Synchrochain timing belt transmits rotary motions at exact angles and a constant belt speed. The match between the belt and drive pulley are synchronous, preventing ratcheting and increasing reliability.
The newly developed CTD profile (Conti Torque Drive) combines the advantages of both the HTD and the STD profile. Ultra smooth running is provided by the arch shaped pulley and the higher tooth ensuring harmonic tooth meshing and excellent protection against belt slip.
