If you work in an industry where temperature control is critical, you'll know that basic controllers aren't always effective at responding to sudden drops or fluctuations. This is where the PID controller (proportional integral derivative) from the RS PRO range really shows its worth, by using a precise control loop mechanism to maintain sensitive equipment at a stable temperature.

Standard controllers use an on/off switching function to control temperature, which can cause a lag in process temperatures. The more advanced PID controllers use feedback from a thermocouple to keep process temperatures as close to the user setpoint as possible.

This temperature controller is easily programmed, with a large, clear LED display and three-button operation. It's designed for panel mounting in a variety of ways, which is ideal if space is limited. This product meets RS PRO's strict quality control requirements and is IP20 and IP65-rated as dust-tight and splash-proof.
