Got a supply voltage and attached components that don't see eye to eye? Put this switching regulator from RECOM in the middle to give your equipment the power it needs. By adapting input voltages between 4.75 and 32V DC to a steady 3.3V DC output, it brings supplies into line and makes them widely compatible. With a 92% maximum efficiency rating, the unit cuts out waste power during conversion to keep your system working efficiently. The regulator doesn't hang around – it starts up in just 10ms so you can GET to work.

How do I install this switching regulator?

You can install this unit on your PCB using through-hole mounting. Simply insert the built-in pins into pre-drilled holes on your board and solder them to the underside.

R78Bxx 2.0 Series Switching Regulator

The Recom R-78Bxx series are highly efficient, non-isolated switching regulators. They offer a high-quality product at a low cost in production quantity. They are ideally suited to replace 78xx linear regulators, as well as being pin compatible.

The convertor has a high-voltage input range and there is no need for heat sinks, due to little energy being wasted. It has a wide input range with continuous short circuit protection and no external components are needed to work efficiently.
