ABB Surge Suppressor Unit


The ABB OVR series surge suppressor unit is a protective device to ensure that electrical equipment is not damaged by a sudden voltage spike. It has an electrical rating of 275V and 80Ka. Type 1 + 2 SPD's have characteristics of type 1 but also type 2. They are capable of discharging a high lightning current (T1 10/350μs) and have a low residual voltage.
