This RS PRO thick film resistor regulates electrical currents and prevents overheating between a battery and an electrical appliance. This is a surface-mounted device (SMD) so it's contained within a rectangular microchip for quick and easy installation on your printed circuit board (PCB).
The piece has a dense metal oxide film coating, so you can be sure the electrical current is contained and the temperature remains stable.
