RS PRO Round Brass Spacer 50mm

RS PRO introduces a fantastic range of round brass spacers. These spacers are small pieces of material that sit between the screw head and surface to create or maintain a space clearance between two things. This range of spacers come in a range of different sizes and lengths (5 mm to 50 mm spacer), depending on the space required for your applications. These spacers have a round body shape and they are compatible with different screws, such as M2, M3 and M4 with female metric threading. These spacers have been manufactured from nickel-plated brass to provide corrosion and rust resistance giving your spacers durability and a long lifespan.

A spacer is a great component that can be used to position parts within an assembly, to lift sections making sure there is enough room for the heat to dissipate and to separate or create a space clearance between two items. Standoffs are like spacers in that they provide space and have a hex or round-shaped body and two openings. The main difference is that standoffs are usually threaded onto the screw or bolt and the threads can be male or female. HDMI supports the transmission of high definition video signals without compromising on picture. HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface and works by using TDMS (transition-minimized differential signalling). TDMS encodes the signal being transmitted, which protects information from degrading as it travels along the cable from one place to another. One of the many wires carries the signal itself and another wire carries the inverse. Once the signals have reached the TV, the TV decodes the signal. Then, using the difference between the original signal and the inverse, the TV compensates for any loss of information that may have happened along the way.
