Schneider Harmony XVU Modular Signal Tower Series


The Harmony XVU series is a modular beacon tower ideally suited for automotive, machine tooling, material handling and electronic equipment industries. They are 360° visual and audible signalling units that come with a combination of innovative features and offer high performance. The Harmony XVU is also simple and easy to assemble, without the need for any tools. The base offers convenient mounting options with direct mounting, pole mounting and three-in-one adjustable wall mounting. These signal towers also offer good resistance to dust and water and are UL/CSA compliant.

An aesthetic design available in black and metallic silver, the reduced diameter makes them suitable for smaller equipment, not only that it distinguishes them from other tower lights. Offering high performance light featuring true colour and homogeneity light, this series provides improved visibility and LED super bright flashing light effects alongside a long-life performance.

Features and Benefits:


• Free of charge configuration software enables the audible signal to be customised via an SD card

• The sounder module plays voice message when customer inputs PLC signals

• Adjustable volume range up to 86dB at 1m

• Multi-colour LED module with a choice of six colours and four light patterns

• Pole mounting with height adjustable tube allowing the adjustment of the column height without any tools

• Flexible mounting module for use on horizontal or vertical support

• Pulse signal modules use pulse signals in single wire to control the tower light

• Pulse signal modules use one signal wire to define different types of signalling

• Flexible and configurable light patterns

• Up to 256 different combinations of audible and visual signals

• Up to 16 different combinations of visual signals (colour combination)

• One pulse signal multi-colour unit can be implemented instead of several single colour illuminated units

• Reduction in I/O wires to connect PLC with tower light

Protection ratings & safety features:


• CE, UL, CSA, and PCT certified

• Illuminated units are rated to IP65 and are resistant to cutting oil while the audible units are rated to IP54

The LED beacon units are not supplied with a top cover. The top covers are supplied with the following termination units: 881-2832 black 24 V ac/dc, 881-2836 silver 24 V ac/dc, 881-2845 black 100-240 V ac, 881-2848 black 100-240 V ac, 881-2842 silver 100-240 V ac. A range of accessories for the XVU series are also available.
