RS PRO D-Shackle, Zinc Plated Steel, 3.5t

This shackle from RS PRO is designed for securing loads, either as a tie-down or for lifting. They are rated for up to 3.5 tonnes each and can fit a 1 3/8 in rope or chain to be held securely. As a screw pin shackle, it's secured by passing the pin between the jaws and screwing it tight, though additional tightening torque can be provided by passing a bar through the hole in the pin if required. The one-inch pin can be passed through a mounting point on the load or ground to hold it down.
This type of shackle is suitable for use in shipping for securing cargo, attaching a load to a crane or anywhere else where a physical connection is required. The high-tensile galvanised steel construction ensures both strength and resistance to corrosion.
